Team
Yellow took to the ice for their final regular season game for 2015 against
Team Black. The atmosphere in the arena
was electric as the crowd was ready for some holiday hockey.
Team Black jumped out to big lead going 4 – 0 early in the game but Team Yellow was not ready to give up just yet. One of the newest additions to our line up, Eric Rogan, broke in for a breakaway and pulled a beauty move, beating the goalie, and dinging it off the cross bar. Not to be discouraged our player of the game (and another new addition), Owen Hambly, answered the call for Team Yellow by netting two beauty goals. The rest of our forwards Christian, Drew, Garrett, Davis, Tommy, Dylan, and Cameron pressed in Team Black’s zone and were unfortunate not to score. Once again our masked hero in net, Reed, played a stellar game with help from our outstanding defence Joey , Bronson, and Jada. All signs point to a promising 2016 for Team Yellow but before then we have three games to play in the Ray Hunt Classic on December 28.
Finally, all of the coaching staff would like to thank the player, and their parents, for their hard work and commitment and we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
