Green Machine versus Royal - Round 4
Team Royal Blue came out flying earlier today in part 4 of the season series against the Machine. With rookie goaltender Jonathan Rideout in net, Green was excited and prepped to go win every race.
Rideout put it all on the line today, even getting knocked right off his skates from the sheer power of Royal's rocket shots. In the end, Royal won a few more races to the puck than Green and played super tough defense. Royal's force field was just too tough to crack.
On the plus side, the Green Machine is still unanimously recognized as the nicest group of kids and best looking team in the Minor Tyke division - a title they won't soon relinquish and evident by the voracious, adoring fans cheering them on.
After their practice tomorrow the Machine will air out their hockey bags until January 3rd when they take on Gold at 2pm on Alder Red, setting the stage for a new year of fun and great hockey.
