Green Grinds Out Big Win
Despite playing with a shortened bench the boys in Green came out flying against an energized White squad this afternoon. With Justin "Big Cat" Mason in goal pouncing on every loose puck, Green found the inspiration they needed to push through and finish the regular season with a win.
Today's effort was monumental across the entire roster. Barth, Morrison, Tipping, Rowntree, and Brady led the scoring, but the team defense and incredible hustle from Brindley, Harnett, Rideout, and Pharoah was a tremendous factor in today's win. Precision passing and great shooting left Team White completely baffled.
The playoff action continues next weekend with a big game on Saturday versus the always tough Team Royal at 2pm. The action is sure to be phenomenal and may finally answer the age old question of what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. (Hint - the answer is a whole lot of fun!)
