A Great Day to Go Green
Earlier this afternoon at Alder Arena in Orangeville the mighty Green Machine faced off against the worthy White Squad. Today's game saw the long-awaited return of Jayden Hancock in goal, who thrilled the fans with his puck-dangling/assist-getting goaltending style.
The rest of the Green Machine saw tremendous passing from the likes of Rowntree, Miller, Rawn, Burman, and Tipping and was further highlighted when Barth fed the puck perfectly to Jonathan Rideout as he crashed the net for his first of the season. Three others came incredibly close to potting their firsts as well - Pharoah, Brindley, and Harnett. Watch for these youngsters to score soon as they continue to work hard and ramp up their play heading into the new year.
Green takes on the always tough Blue Team next Saturday to wrap up the 2014 part of the season. Game time is 12:30pm. Get there early as these Green vs Blue games are always standing room only.
