Orange versus Teal, Round 2
Determination
de·ter·mi·na·tion, noun
Is currently defined as -  firmness of purpose; resoluteness.
But check Webster's Dictionary for updates because it won't be long before the definition simply reads, "Team Orange."

In typical fashion the blazing boys in Orange worked hard and forced the play all game. Anchored by the incomparable Dylan Hambly in goal, the Orange squad came out firing. Hambly covered every loose puck as Orange's tremendous defense and backchecking kept Team Teal back on their heels. Scoring came from Mulder, McDonald, Laurin, and Barnett but that only tells part of the story. The great team effort of moving the puck hard up the boards was the real star of the game.

Thornington, Suleiman, Drost, and Kaveryga put on a clinic on the blueline as did Laurin when called to fill in. Rideout, Irvine, Amaral, Pharoah, Wylie, and Clarke all played the kind of game for which "character" and "heart" are the only words to describe. Team Orange dedicated the win to coach Tremblay who couldn't make it, and to gritty defenceman, Sanderson who was described as having an "upper body" injury and listed as day-to-day.

Check out team Orange next week as they take on Green again looking to tie the season series at 1 apiece.
