White and Orange Battle to a Draw
This morning at Alder Red rink, two phenomenal young squads took to the ice with White looking to square up the season series at two wins apiece. With leading scorer Sillars back in the line-up, and unmatched team speed on their side, White was ready to rock.
This was a physical game with White showing great offensive and defensive ability. Rookie upstart Di Donato nearly potted her second of the year and big strong winger Amaral had a tremendous game. Speedster Carter Clarke worked hard at both ends and found himself in a great scoring position several times and Rideout narrowly missed a goal on a great sprint for the puck. White's scoring came from outstanding play-making and hustle by Sillars and Carvalho.
White is off for the All-Star break and returns to action on Feb 8th versus the Yellow team.
