Atom Team White Continues Great Play
The final game of the morning in the Atom Division had White facing off versus long time rival Yellow. Today White came out with an energized first period the likes of which have rarely been seen.
From the very first shift, Team White never looked back with phenomenal play from the entire roster - starting with veteran goaltender Noah Thilbault who showed his poise, great play, and confidence especially when shutting down Yellow through the second period as they threatened to surge back. All three forward lines got on the game sheet - Sillars, Rideout, and Di Donato - Carvalho, MacDonald, and Bradley - and Cars, Amaral, and Clarke. Clarke scored on a great feed from Amaral with a perfectly executed one-timer and Carvalho had a breakout performance at both ends of the ice. White's team speed was on full display.
The defense stood tall and didn't give Yellow much room to operate, forcing turnovers and quickly moving the puck back up ice. McMillan, (Matt) Thibault, Pharoah, and Frew showed once again that they are a core to be reckoned with.
White needs to be ready to go again on Sunday March 1st against the speedy and determined Team Red at 8am. Will they be ready? You bet!
