White and Red Continue Season Long Rivalry Into The Playoffs
The Atom division playoffs tightened up even more following Sunday's play, and was highlighted with great play across every game. If you're a fan of great hockey, yesterday was a treat.
The early game pitted Team White against Red. Their season long series has been extremely close and yesterday's game was no exception. Both sides came out flying in the First period. The speed of this game was absolutely spectacular and reminiscent of the kind of play you might expect from Junior hockey - not Atom House League. Thibault continued to stand tall in goal for White while Sillars, MacDonald, and Carvalho led the scoring. In spite of a great team effort the day belonged to Red, and brings White's record to 2 & 1 through 3 games.
Next week White faces Team Black at 10am on Sunday. With just two games remaining in the round robin both teams will be ready to rock.
