Congratulations Minor Atom AA Flyers on your Orangeville Early Bird Championship!
The tournament started with a very important game versus the Centre Wellington Fusion. A tough 2-1 loss showed the team that hard work was going to be a necessity to triumph in the Orangeville Early Bird Tournament.
Next, a decisive 10-0 win against the TNT Tornadoes was just what the Doctor ordered.
Saturday saw an extremely tough schedule with the days opener against the Sudbury Bulldogs, in which the team gutted out a 3-2 win.
Next the Flyers endured a battle with last years OMHA champs, the Stouffville Clippers, in which the Flyers came out on top with a 4-1 win.
The next and final challenge would be against the Sudbury Bulldogs. Once again, hard work prevailed and the Flyers emerged victorious 6-4. The final game was an aggressive, back and forth battle. A battle in which all players can be proud of their contributions.
