Major Bantam AE, 2013-2014, Rep (Orangeville Minor Hockey)

On Wednesday March 19th the Orangeville Flyers Bantam AE team capped a spectacular season by winning the OMHA Championship.

Congratulations to the Orangeville Flayers Bantam AE team! On Sunday the Flyers won the International Silver Stick tournament with a hard fought 3-2 victory over the Oakville Rangers in the finals.

Congratulations to the Bantam AE Flyers on winning their fourth tournament of the season - this one the Silver Stick qualifier in Alliston. The Flyers went undefeated through the weekend, capped by a 6-4 victory over the home-town TNT Tornadoes in the Final. The boys are off to the International Silver Stick tournament in Pelham beginning on January 9th. Many thanks to Coaches Inglis, Viveiros, Vaughan and Dunkerley in making the tournament such an overwhelming success. GO FLYERS GO!

The Bantam AEs are 3 for 3 in tournaments this season after winning the Jim Wilson Winter Classic in Orillia. The boys went undefeated in four games, outscoring their opponents by a combined score of 24-2 on the weekend.

Congratulations to the Orangeville Flyers 99 AE team on winning the Bradford Blue and Gold tournament, held October 18th through 20th. The boys went undefeated on the weekend, winning the six games by a combined total of 29 goals for versus only 5 against. The boys triumphed over a strong Georgina Blaze team in the final, tying the game with only 1:42 left in the third, then pulling out a 3-2 victory in overtime. Both the equalizer and the winner came off the stick of defenceman John Viveiros. Well done boys!
