Team Green Elevates Play to Get by Black
For the second time this season Team Black faced G,reen this morning at Tony Rose. Black came into this game 1 up in the season series and Green was determined to bring things back to all square.
Green came out flying from the drop of the puck but Black countered with strong play on the puck. Then Green's scoring sensation #11 Williamson, broke away from the pack to get Green out to an early lead. From there, Green never looked back but similarly, it was clear that Black never looked down. This phenomenal group of young men pushed hard create scoring more opportunities and draw penalties.
Heading into the third period with renewed laser-focus, Black managed to get 2 past the Green goalie after countless chances and a couple shots off the post. In the end Green evened the series at one win apiece setting the stage for the next time these two titans meet.
Black plays again next Sunday at 9am against the always challenging Team Red.
