Could we have had anymore shots on net?
Dear Players and Parents,
Well I guess you just can't win them all but still what a game. What was truly remarkable is that for the most part we controlled the play, dominated the game and produced 43 shots to their 7. We simply ran into a hot goalie tonight.
What was also impressive is that boys didn't give up. We reset at the beginning of the 2nd and challenged the boys to win the period .... go out and score 2 goals and hold them to 0. They almost made it and got back one.
They continued to press in the 3rd and finally tied it up. At no point did the boys roll over and give up. In the past this team didn't always do that.
Great work tonight boys, never giving up and battling to the end.
