Playing against teams not familiar with us, your Flyers came prepared to play a tough Tournament. Our opponents for the entire weekend were made up of Minor and Major PeeWee players, some of which had quite the size difference and unorthodox playing style that we were not used to.
Your Flyers didn't disappoint and went undefeated in five games winning the Woolwich Wildcat Weekend Tournament!!!
Game 5 had us playing against the Beverly Bandits for the Championship. It was a back and forth battle for both teams. Aidan Murray netted 2 goals skating coast to coast with another goal from Ryan Hussey, and at the end of the 3rd period, the game was tied 3-3. Thirty seconds into overtime, Ryan Hussey scored the game winning goal with an assist from Jake "The Bulldog" Nalli.
