Hockey Update!
Hello Flyers Families
Michelle Bridges, Vice President of Rep, and myself, attended a zoom meeting with the other centres within our Tri County hockey league. A long discussion took place whether to stop hockey at this point because of the pandemic or to continue to play until the Christmas break, December 23, 2021. The vote from the league was to keep playing.
The executive of the Orangeville Minor Hockey Association met late this evening to discuss whether our own association should continue playing or to stop our teams with some teams having positive cases.
The executive voted in favour of playing up to the Christmas break for both our Rep program and our House League program.
The Ray Hunt tournament, which we normally host during the Christmas Holidays will be cancelled this year.
