After a lengthy layoff the boys opened the second round of the playoffs in Caledon on Friday night. Evan scored midway through the first period on an end to end rush to give us a 1-0 lead. We hit the post shortly after. Caledon tied up the score in the second period, the boys were playing well but we seemed to hit a wall in the third and ended up losing 3-1. Evan and Jayden were given game MVP's, over all a solid game given the time off.
We returned to Orangeville for the second game, it was scoreless after 1. Caledon then opened the scoring after a lucky bounce. It was 1-0 going into the third, the boys were playing well and creating scoring chances. We took 2 penalties at the end of the period and were down 5-3 for a full 2 minutes, the boys did a great job to kill the penalties. The score remained 1-0, we started to push the play and came close to tying it a couple of times, unfortunately Caledon scored their insurance goal with 30 seconds left to take the game 2-0. Game MVP's went to Jayden and Ethan.
The series is now 4 -0 in favor of Caledon and we need to win 3 straight. I believe the boys can do it as both games in this series could have went either way!

Practice Tuesday in Tony B 7:30 pm
Game 4 in Orangeville on March 7th in Tony A at 900 pm-if necessary
Game 5 in Caledon at 845 pm on March 8th in Mayfield Arena-if necessary
