The kids completed the first round of the York Simcoe playoffs this past week against the Aurora Tigers with 2 losses. We lost 4-3 in Aurora on Monday and 4-0 in Orangeville on Saturday. We will now advance to the consolation round with our opponent to be determined shortly. The second round will likely start in late February. We struggled in the 4-0 finale of the series but overall I thought the boys put in a good showing against a tough Aurora team.
In the meantime I will continue to look for extra practice time to help us prepare for the next round.
The week ahead:
Practice Wednesday in Grand Valley at 8:30 pm
Game Friday vs Heartland Dragons in Tony A at 8:00 pm
