It was the final weekend of the regular season and our last league game against TNT had huge playoff implications. A win meant we would play Brampton Gold and loss or tie would match us up against one of the big 3 teams in Aurora.
We were leading 2-0 going into the third period after Jake and Brent scored. TNT started to push the pace and the kids were unable to respond. TNT ended up tying the game late in the third to seal our fate. The boys played well in the first 2 periods, there was some push back in the third but TNT simply wanted it more. Game MVP's went out to Jake who had a solid game up front and AP Joseph who looked really good in his first rep game.
We closed the weekend with a 2-0 win against Milton in an exhibition game. Breadon and Dawson scored while Owen T. and Aiden earned 2 assists each. Game MVP's went to Jayden and Ted who split the game.
Playoff match up vs. Aurora ( 18-6-4 )
We played Aurora twice this year losing 6-0 and 4-0
The first team to earn 6 points moves to the York Simcoe Championship round while the losing team will play in the York Simcoe Consolation loop.
