After a 2 week break the boys were back in action against Brampton Gold. Graydon opended the scoring with about 5 minutes to go in the first period after Luke grabbed the puck behind our net, he made a nice brek out pass to Connor who carried the puck up the ice. Connor passed the puck back to Luke who then passed it to Graydon who took the shot and scored. 3 minutes into the second period Brampton tied it up. It was a pretty good game through the first 2 periods as both teams exchanged chances. After a few tough penalty calls we went down 3-1. We called a time out to settle the kids down. With about 5 minutes left Luke and Breadon battled for a puck in the offensive zone, Breadon was able to move the puck back to Jake who was at the point ready to take the pass. Jake then took a quick wrist shot and it found it's way to the back of the net to make it 3-2. With just under 2 minutes to go Breadon carried the puck up the wing, he took a nice hard shot and scored to tie the game up. Jayden had another solid game and was given game mvp. Honorable mention to Breadon and Owen T. who both put in a another strong game. Its was nice to see the boys fight back, definitely a character building game for the whole team.
We complete the regular season this weekend with 3 games.
