Wow what a season, OMHA Champions!
As head coach, I couldn't be prouder of these young men and their tremendous accomplishment. The foundation of this team began during the 2016/17 season. A season about rebuilding, getting back to the basics and understanding the importance of Perfect Effort. With an amazing bench staff to support this concept, the team thrived in an environment which included doing their best always, accountability with no excuses and a team first attitude which took them deep into the OMHA's.
The 2017/18 Bantam AE Flyers were built on the previous years foundation. This years team had the benefit of that Perfect Effort foundation and another strong and dedicated coaching staff. The boys once again thrived within enhanced offense and defense systems c/w multiple options to deliver a fast, physical and a strong puck possession game. The boys accepted a higher level of accountability, work ethic, putting their teams success ahead of their own and a never give up attitude. Ultimately a combination of our strong systems and the belief in their foundation lead them to a season never to be forgotten.
