Early Bird Gets the GOLD!
The Atom AE Flyers traveled along Broadway on the weekend of September 19-22, 2013 hungry for Gold.In a four game round robin the Flyers posted the following results. 3-0 win over the Caledon Hawks, 6-0 win over the Flamborough Sabres, 10-0 win over the Vaughan Rangers and a 2-1 win over the Peterborough Petes.
This put the hometown team in first place and had them set to meet the Flamborough Sabres in the Gold Medal Game.
In a hard fought back and forth game the home team broke open the scoring and at the end of 3 periods showed what team work could accomplish. A 3-0 win brought home the prize!Congrats on a job well done boys!
